CORNING, NY- Today the League of Women Voters held a forum at 11:45am where the candidates would answer questions from the public. Barb Halpin of the Schuyler County League of Women Voters confirmed that Randy Kuhl declined the invitation at the last minute. Kuhl instead chose to hold a partisan press conference in Corning at Centerway Square at noon.

Eric Massa, retired Navy Commander and Congressional Candidate in Western New York's 29th District, is holding three events today announcing the endorsement of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Political Action Committee. The first was held at the Rochester Veterans Outreach Center and the second at the Elmira VFW Field Post #901. For the third time in a week, this poll showed retired Navy Commander Eric Massa firmly in the lead over his entrenched incumbent opponent Randy Kuhl by a margin of 49-42%.

In the past two days, two separate third party polls have been released showing retired Navy Commander Eric Massa in a solid lead over his opponent, Randy Kuhl.
